Volunteer

If you are interested in volunteering on Saturday, May 16th, 2015 to help us interview over 700 youth for City of Houston summer jobs, please REGISTER HERE.

SER is open to individuals/groups interested in volunteering and has various opportunities for involvement. In addition, SER is currently seeking individuals interested in volunteering for the organization. There are many opportunities available and the hours available are Monday – Saturday.
 

Volunteer Opportunities

We have numerous of volunteer positions along with customize positions based on your interests and skills.

Office Associate

  • Receptionist Support
  • Community Outreach Volunteers
  • Workshop Aide
  • Class Instructors
  • Job Coaches
  • Career Coach
  • Guest speakers
  • Mock Interviewers
  • Special Event Planning 
  • Fundraising

 

Training may apply depending on the position.

**All volunteers must attend an orientation.**

Types of volunteers:

  • Long term volunteer (Longer than 3 weeks)
  • Short term Volunteer (Less than 3 weeks)
  • One day volunteer
  • Special events volunteer
