SER announces new program, open house nets media coverage

SER officially announced its newest vocational training program with a press conference and open house at our new welding training lab on Tuesday, Sept. 18th. We were honored by the great turnout in support of our project from elected officials (including Congressman Gene Green, Congresswoman Sheila Jackson Lee, and Houston City Councilman Ed Gonzales), project partners, supporters, special guests, media, and more.

Below you will find links to some of the coverage from the event:

"Ex-offenders find redemption, work in jobs program" (Fox 26)

"Lanzan programa para rehabilitar a 400 ex-convictos" (La Opinion)

"Programa SER-Jobs ayudara a reos a conseguir empleo" (Univision 45)

"Houston offers second chance job reentry for ex-offenders" (KUHF - Houston Public Radio)

"Ofrecen empleo y capacitacion a exconvictos en el East End de Houston" (Rumbo)

Our sincerest thanks go out to everyone who made this program, event, and our ongoing services possible.
