Movie Night at the Park

The East End Collaborative is proud to present: Movie Night at the Park: Our Story for Magnolia residents and the Greater East End area. We will be showing an oral history film featuring 30 of Magnolia Park’s original families who have contributed economically, historically, and socially to the establishment of the oldest “barrio” (Hispanic neighborhood) in Houston. The film was directed by Dr. Irene Procarello, President of Houston Community College—Southeast, and produced in tandem by Minerva Pérez, an award-winning journalist and former KTRK Channel 13 news anchor.
