A good friend suggested contacting SER-Jobs for Progress for On - the - Job training. On the Job Training was a paid training program funded by C.E.T.A. (Comprehensive Employment Training Act. SER built a partnership with employers to place training participants at their location for a specified amount of time. The training would include general office skills and a variety of other trainings were also available. While receiving On the Job Training, he went on to work at Texas Eastern Corporation behind a desk.
