Volunteer Opportunities
SER is currently seeking individuals interested in volunteering for the organization. There are many opportunities available and the hours available are Monday – Saturday.

Positions available include:

  • Office Assistants
  • Community Outreach Volunteers
  • Class Instructors
  • Job Coaches
  • Guest speakers
  • Mock Interviewers

Please contact Ariana Campos at (713) 773-6000 x 140 to receive a Volunteer Application and a listing of Volunteer Service Positions available. Service Positions include a description of the opportunity, time commitment, and methods of communication.

Gifts In-Kind
SER's Employment and Training programs provide the tools and resources individuals need to enter the workforce. SER seeks donations for the following:

  • Professional attire, shoes, and accessories for men and women; or gift cards for clients to purchase items needed.
  • Houston METRO bus passes and pre-paid gas cards to get to and from the job interview.
  • Personal hygiene items.
  • Grocery store gift cards.
  • General office supplies for training participants.
