Dear Friends and Supporters,
Thank you! Thank you! Thank you!
We are so grateful for your support of SER's 50th Anniversary "Building Our Workforce" Gala, co-chaired by Ileana Treviño and David M. Underwood, Jr. Because of your generosity, this memorable, record-breaking evening raised more than $365,000 in support of SER's life-changing services to our community.

Together, we honored the Tellepsen Family, who operate one of Houston's most successful family businesses. The four generations of Tellepsens that have led the company for more than 100 years have made giving back to the community a hallmark of the Tellepsen way of doing business (reflected in the video, "Builders and Believers").

Further cementing the connection with the Tellepsen family, we shared that SER recently purchased Tellepsen's former headquarters, constructed in 1948 in Houston's East End. The merging of Tellepsen's past with SER's future will create a Workforce Opportunity Center to help Houston's most in need youth and adults develop the skills they need to be a part of our growing workforce.

SER alumni, including Manuel and his grandparents, Marina and Jose, provided a glimpse into how SER has transformed lives for half a century (reflected in the "Power of Potential" video).

SER alumni shared their journeys from a life of struggle to a life of opportunity, and implored guests to help SER continue this impact through programs like YouthBuild Houston. Guests accepted this challenge, raising funds on the spot to purchase a 12-passenger van for the YouthBuild Houston program!

Your support makes these stories possible and we are honored to be able to share them with you. On behalf of our Board, staff, and clients, we thank you for your continuous support of SER's mission to improve lives... one job at a time.

I look forward to sharing our progress as we work to meet the needs of future generations!
With gratitude,
Nory Angel, MBA
